Extend a helping hand to victims of typhoon Haiyan

Please help the Philippines (Photo grabbed from CNN.com)

I’m sure that you’ve seen my home country all over the news lately. Parts of the Philippines, including my family’s hometown: Coron, Palawan (the town which was last hit by the typhoon), have been devastated by super typhoon Haiyan (local name Yolanda) and is in desperate need of help.

Homes destroyed. Lives taken. Infrastructure destroyed. No access to clean water, food and medicine.

This is why I am asking for you, wherever you are in the world, to extend a helping hand to my country, countrymen, and even tourists, who were affected by typhoon Haiyan. You may share your blessings via these organizations:

Thank you for whatever help you can give. Your prayers, at the very least, would be appreciated.

Delirious about delicious,

Didi

P.S. I thank God that my relatives in Coron, Palawan are safe, but then many of our farm’s tenants’ homes were literally blown away and flattened by the winds. The entire town is in dire need of clean water, food and gasoline as supplies are almost depleted.
