Oh my gas!

The orange light on the upper right hand corner of the gas range means GO COOK!

“Click! Pfffffffffffffffffffttt…”

UH-OH. There went our gas stove top. After almost 6-months of cooking and coffee / tea making, our gas cylinder ran out of juice. I thought I couldn’t cook The Husband’s packed lunch for tomorrow, until…

The Husband reminded me that our stove had electric burners. A-HA! Whew! The Husband’s packed lunch (and our sausage breakfast too!) is saved!

Note to self and other future domestic goddesses: make sure your stove top or gas range has BOTH gas and electric burners. Though I personally prefer cooking on gas burners, the electric burners are useful when you run out of gas like what just happened to me. And gas burners will be most useful in the event of no electricity (In the Philippines, we still have occasional electrical blackouts).

Daydreaming delicious,

Didi
