The other day, we were on the lookout for mung bean sprouts for a stir fry recipe. Of course, I was looking for the mung bean sprouts I knew from back home: precious mother-of-pearl pieces of string with itty bitty delicate golden locket. But I stumbled upon a different kind of mung bean sprouts, which I think were even more precious delicate strings. When I cooked them, the sprouts looked like the misua noodles! Did you see how those mung beans cascade down from the fork? Beautiful right?
This is the real vegetable noodle! I think I am even more in love with this kind of mung bean sprouts that the old one…
