How do you stop the madness of mindless eating?

I have to get up at 715AM for another food adventure, but I’m too stuffed with grilled meats and vegetables, pulao rice, Arabic bread to get some decent shut eye. Another day, another chance to stuff myself silly. But I want to stop the gorging without stopping the eating! *on the verge of crying*

I’ve started working out again two weeks ago (Thanks BodyRock TV for my home workout routines!) and somehow people have noticed a wee bit of changes; so I’ve been extra motivated to keep on going and hopefully win the ongoing battle of the bulge. Of course, exercise is just one part of the struggle.

Diet is an entirely different ball game.

Along with the daily exercise routine, I’ve also been keeping an eating diary to document what exactly I’ve been stuffing into my stomach. I started out being conscious about the amounts of food, but, lately, old habits of mindless eating have been resurrected from the grave like a zombie. But this has got to STOP. The mindless eating and not the eating, of course. I really can’t give up eating because, first, it is my passion and, second, I believe that one can enjoy all types of food as long as in moderation.

For those who have successfully imbibed the jedi way of mindful eating, care to share tips on how to digest this new way of eating?

Daydreaming sexy,

Didi
