To diet or not to diet? Now that IS the question.
Unfortunately for me, my voracious appetite was not paired with a Speedy Gonzales metabolism. So all the food that I devour goes directly to my hips…and more. So almost every single day, I ask myself the question: to diet or not to diet?
I actually do get tired of thinking about that question. I’ve gone through so many diets in the past 29 years of my life: South Beach, GM Diet, After 6PM Diet, No Rice Diet, Master Cleanse, etc, etc. And it’s stressful stuff I tell yah!
There are a number Pros of Going on a diet including:
- Obviously, Vanity Reason #1: I look better.
- Vanity Reason #2: Getting to fit better in more clothes. Lugi ka kapag malusog. Mahirap humanap ng damit.
- At dahil nagmamature na (I am mature enough to admit the aging process we all under go), I need to be healthier. Well, getting healthy through diet would depend on what diet I do. Hehehe.
I think vanity and health should be enough reasons for me to be on a diet 24/7, BUT then there are the cons:
- I miss out on my life’s ultimate pleasure. Hehehe. Heto na nga lang ang luho ko and it will be taken away from me. NOOOOOOOOO! Oh yea, and I will only live once.
Any other cons to going on a diet? I suddenly find myself stumped. So I only have one con???!!!??? Dammit. Does this mean I really have to go on a diet already?
To diet or not to diet. Now that is still the question. Sigh.
